Guelph GoGo Grandmothers (4Gs)

"Here’s some big, happy news: In just thirteen years, more than $36 million has been raised in support of African grandmothers! Your collaborative work made this astounding total possible, which is irrefutable proof of the power of grassroots organizing.
(Granny Bulletin: October 2019)

Ontario South and West— Hosted by 4Gs at the Puslinch Comminity Centre
October 19, 2019

A letter received by Carol, 4Gs member who chaired the event and is our Regional Resource Leader.

Hi Carol,
"The Gathering organized by the 4 G’s was excellent. Our group left feeling energized, hopeful and impacted by the messages from the Foundation and Ida.  it was also a learning to hear from Priscilla Muzira and her work with the African-Caribbean Community. We also liked the change from dividing into workshops for part of the day to listening to the work that is happening and interacting with the guest speakers.  We loved the storytelling from your talented grandmothers and the Taste-y brown bag lunch. Perfect.  We all filled out the evaluation form but I wanted to extend a big appreciation for your group’s foresight and planning in this event."

Loving Hands
