An inspiring REGIONAL GATHERING: Ontario South and West— Hosted by 4Gs at the Puslinch Comminity Centre
October 19, 2019
A letter received by Carol, 4Gs member who chaired the event and is our Regional Resource Leader.
Hi Carol,
"The Gathering organized by the 4 G’s was excellent. Our group left feeling energized, hopeful and impacted by the messages from the Foundation and Ida. it was also a learning to hear from Priscilla Muzira and her work with the African-Caribbean Community. We also liked the change from dividing into workshops for part of the day to listening to the work that is happening and interacting with the guest speakers. We loved the storytelling from your talented grandmothers and the Taste-y brown bag lunch. Perfect. We all filled out the evaluation form but I wanted to extend a big appreciation for your group’s foresight and planning in this event."

OUR REGIONAL GATHERING:S eptember 29, 2018
Ontario South and West Ontario Regional Gathering was hosted by Hamilton's Grandmothers of Steel. Here is Carol Barnhardt, chair for the event. (Carol is the Regional Liason Officer, and we're proud to say, an active GoGoGrandmother leader/member. )
It was a wonderful day. Another great gathering. Our groups came together and shared ideas, resources, and we heard from the Stephen Lewis Foundation and our community-based partners.
From Carol, "We were thoroughly blessed with Josephine Nabukenya, who told us how young women are moving forward and taking control of their future. So inspiring!"

We thank our host, the Grandmothers of Steel.
